TETU, EDITH LOUISE Edith Louise Tetu, 85, died of cancer on November 16, 2005 in Camden, SC. She was predeceased by her husband, Colonel Robert G. Tetu, U.S. Army, Retired, in 1972. Edith was born in Rhode Island and lived in San Diego from 1972 until early this year. Edith was a loving mother and devoted wife who enjoyed Army life, traveling to visit her five children, and an occasional dry martini. She was an avid golfer and expert bridge player. Edith adored her grandchildren and showered them with her love, wisdom, humor, and generosity. Edith's survivors include her daughters, Janet T. Butcher and Joan M. Appling; her sons, Robert G. Tetu, William J. Tetu, and Richard P. Tetu; her twelve grandchildren, and her six great-grandchildren. A Mass will be celebrated at three o'clock, December 21, at the Fort Myer Chapel, Fort Myer, VA. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Dallas, TX.
