BREAUX BRIDGE - Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, time pending, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Joseph Harris Theriot, 78, who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at Lafayette General Medical Center.Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.Mr. Theriot was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Southern Pacific Railroad after 38 years of service.Survivors include his wife, Anna Richard Theriot, of Lafayette; his son, Leonard James Theriot, of Lafayette; his brother, Fred Theriot and his wife, Helen, of Lafayette; his sisters, Thelma Domingue and her husband, Curtis, of Lafayette, Lydia Guidry and her husband, Andrew, of Nina, Lilly Mae Guidry and her husband, Fred, of New Orleans, and Marilyn Seneca and her husband, E.J., of Henderson; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Marcantel Theriot; and his parents, Hubert and Edith Guidry Theriot.The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and will continue from 9 a.m. Friday until time of service.A rosary will be recited this evening.Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, (337) 332-2111, is in charge of arrangements.
