Antoinette Smith, 96, formerly of Branch Turnpike in Concord, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2005, at Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association's Hospice House in Concord. She was born and raised in Franklin, the daughter of the late Charles and Delina (Cheney) Therrien. Antoinette attended Franklin schools. She worked for the Sulloway & Stevens Mill for many years. She resided in Pawtucket, R.I., for many years, returning to Franklin in 1956. In 1971 she moved to Spring Hill, Fla., where she lived before returning to Concord in 1994. Most recently she resided at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and reading. She was predeceased by her husband, Allie F. Smith, who died in 1980. Antoinette is survived by her nieces, Evelina Coen of Concord and Theresa Duhamel of Franklin; and many other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Park Cemetery in Tilton. Waters Funeral Home in Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
