Paul L. THIBEAULT

Paul L. Thibeault, 81, of Tampa, Fla. and formerly of Derry, died Oct. 18, 2005 in a Tampa health care facility. He was born and raised in Derry, and was the son of the late Louis and Marie ( Lavoie) Thibeault. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, class of 1942, and received his diploma although he left school a few months early to enlist in the Army Air Corps in early 1942. He served throughout World War II in England and France with the 9th Air Force. Following the war, he graduated with the class of 1948 from Becker College in Worcester, Mass., and worked in New Hampshire and Florida for many years until his retirement as a manager for a wholesale electric parts supply company.He is survived by four sons, John Thibeault of Chester, James Thibeault of Tampa, Fla., S/Sgt. Joseph Thibeault of Texas, and Jeffrey Thibeault of Grafton; a daughter, Denise Thibeault Lugo of Tampa, Fla.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Robert Thibeault of Huntsville, Ala., William Thibeault of Canton, Mass. and Richard Thibeault of Derry. He was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Thibeault of Hampstead.Arrangements: Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Friends may call on Friday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry.
