Laura Thiesen La Bresh, was born in Reedley, CA on August 31, 1925 and died on December 22, 2004 in Whittier, CA. She is survived by husband Howard, son Chuck and wife Nancy, Greenvil le, TN, son Tom, Orangevale, CA, six grandsons, Jay (Summer); Jeff and Ken Woodcock, Jeremiah (Megan), Adam and Dan La Bresh, and three great-grandsons Aiden, Kieran and Tomn LaBresh. She graduated from Reedley High School in 19433. After attending Reedley Junior College and Bob Jones College, she began her teaching career in 1945 in Traver and Shaffer, CA. Graduating from San Jose State in 1951, she moved to Whittier City School District. In 1988 she retired after 27 years of teaching kindergarden, firs t and second grade. During that time she also taught Sunday School for 35 years at Granada Heights Friends Church, La Mirada, CA. After retiring, she started the Jeweled Neckpieces company and a new career of making and selling scarves at boutiques and craft shows. Memorial services were held December 27, 2004 at Granda Heights Friends Church in La Mirada, CA. Interment was in Kingsburg, CA with a memorial service held December 30th at Evengelico Convent Church in Kingsburg, CA.
