Lillian P. TREMBLAY

CLIFTON PARK, NY -- Lillian P. Staring, 84, of Clamsteam Road in Clifton Park died on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after a short illness. She was born on May 15, 1921 in St. Clothilde, Canada and was the daughter of the late Zephir and Florida Gagnon Tremblay. She was educated at St. Joseph's School in Cohoes. Mrs. Staring was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Staring. She retired from the Holiday Inn in 1982. She was formerly a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 1450 and a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Crescent. She was the loving mother of Brian D. and Sharon A. Staring, both of Clifton Park; loving sister of Urbain and Hector Tremblay, both of Clifton Park, John Paul Tremblay of Halfmoon and Simonne Fortin of Cohoes. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Lawrence Joly and Jeanne Soulier; three brothers, Henry, Leonard and Gerard Tremblay. Funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park, thence to St. Joseph's Church in Cohoes where at 9:00 a.m. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford, N.Y.
