Paul D. “Frenchy” VanCoeur, 63, Wernersville, died April 29 at 5:05 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since April 23.Born in Toronto, Canada, he was a son of Irene M. (McCartney) VanCoeur, a resident at Berks Heim, and the late Leslie A. VanCoeur.VanCoeur had been employed for more than 30 years as an engineer by Amquip, Bethlehem, retiring in 1999.He was an Army veteran.VanCoeur was a life member of the Reading Motorcycle Club and was a past post commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wernersville.He is also survived by three daughters: Denise (VanCoeur) Vest, Houston; Nicole L. VanCoeur, Womelsdorf; and Danielle R. VanCoeur, Fort Myers, Fla.Other survivors include a brother, Brian, Blandon.There are also two grandsons.Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Bean Funeral Homes Inc., Sinking Spring.
