GRACE V. BISSONNETTE MILTON — Grace V. Bissonnette, 68, of Milton died Friday morning, Dec. 30, 2005, in Birchwood Terrace Healthcare in Burlington following a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Grace was born Jan. 27, 1937, in Queens, N.Y., the daughter of the late Jacob and Isabelle Vasold. On April 16, 1960, she was married to Paul E. Bissonnette in Florida. Together they moved to Milton and raised their family. Paul passed away on May 13, 1983. A member of St. Ann's parish, Grace attended church regularly and enjoyed being surrounded by her 13 grandchildren. A very avid sports fan, in particular, hockey and football, she was proud of all of her children and their achievements and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Andre Bissonnette and his wife Anne of Grand Isle, Armand Bissonnette of Westford, Duane Bissonette and his wife Anne of Pueblo, Colo., and Claire Sprano and her husband Bill Jr. of Huntington; her grandchildren, Alissa, Ian, Amanda, Gerhardt, Duncan, Maeve, Brian, Christa, James, Joshua and Emily Bissonnette and Rebecca and Daniel Sprano.; her sister, Carol Cox and her husband Walter of Charlotte, N.C.; as well as several nieces, nephews and inlaws. Besides her husband, Paul, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Richard and Robert Vasold. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday Jan. 4, at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Catholic Church, Main Street, Milton, by Father John Feltz. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Parish, Growth and Development Fund, P.O. Box 1, Milton, Vt. 05468. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Father Feltz offering prayers at 3:45 in the Minor Funeral Home, Route 7 in Milton.
