Guy J. Vicknair, 89, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005.Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to funeral time Wednesday. Religious service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home, with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Chackbay.He is survived by one brother, Leon J. Vicknair; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elvire Jolet Vicknair; four brothers, Lloyd, Elmo, Richard and Rudolph Vicknair.He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
