DION, Theresa R., 79, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, died Sunday, October 30, 2005, in Alamogordo. Mrs. Dion was born August 19, 1926 in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania to Jan and Laura (Lapeuz) Wasilowski. She was employed by the City of Tucson until her retirement in 1988, at which time she moved to Alamogordo. She was a member of St. Jude Mission and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Alamogordo. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Dion of the family home; three daughters, Paula Lisko-Apodoca and her husband Al of El Paso, Marguerite Decker and her husband Timothy of Colorado Springs, and Mary Sloan and her husband Ellis of Tucson; seven grandchildren, Tracey Lynne Blobner of San Angelo, Texas, Jay Paul Blobner of El Paso, Brian Edward Decker of Ontario, California, Sarah Lynne Decker of Colorado Springs, Stephanie Marie Clark and Christina Renee Clark of Tucson, and Steven Michael Clark and his wife Tanya of Wigby Island, Washington; four great-grandchildren, Matthew Weir of San Angelo, Karyn Clark of Tucson, Jessica White of San Angelo, and Jordan Edward Decker of Colorado Springs; a brother, Zygmunt Wasilowski of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; four sisters; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Renee Blobner, the day before Mrs. Dion. Funeral Mass for Mrs. Dion and her granddaughter Jennifer will be celebrated at St. Jude Mission in Alamogordo on Friday, November 4, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. with Father D. Wayne Herpin, S.J. as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the St. Jude Columbarium. Services are under the direction of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home in Alamogordo.Published on Tucson.com on 11/2/2005.
