Patricia A. Masse, 46, died peacefully at home on Oct. 10, 2005, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Illinois, she later moved with her family to Torrance, Calif. She has lived in Apple Valley for the last 13 years. She enjoyed her job as a teacherÕs aid at Mesquite Elementary School and will be greatly missed by her students and the teachers. Patty was a kind, loving, creative person who was known for her generous and caring nature. She created strong traditions for her family and friends and lived her life to the fullest. Patty inspired everyone she met to do the same. She was cherished by her family and friends and will leave them enriched for having shared her life with them. She is survived by her adoring daughter, Shannon Masse, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; her son, Nathan Masse, of Apple Valley; her loving mother, Lucy Sidwell, of Apple Valley; and her two brothers, Steve Weisser of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mike Weisser of Fresno. She also leaves behind her grandson, Parker Masse, of Barstow, who was the apple of her eye. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dudley Mortuary, with graveside services following immediately after at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in honor of Patty to City of Hope Cancer Center in Duarte, Calif. Sunset Hills Mortuary is handling arrangements. < < BACK
