PURDY, John Robert (Jack), Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Linhaven Home for the Aged on Monday, March 8, 2004, in his 81st year. Jack, loving husband of Rose. Beloved father of Mike Purdy, and Gail Patterson (Jan). Remembered by his grandchi ldren Sarah and Brad. Survived by his sister-in-law Peggy Purdy and nephews Christopher and James Purdy. Predeceased by his brothers Frederick and Gordon Purdy. Mr. Purdy retired from Hayes-Dana in 1979 and was a member of Merritton Legion Br. #128. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside Interment Service on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances to the Canadian Arthritis Society or the Alzheimer Society, Niagara Region, would be appreciated by the family.
