PARADIS, Donna Jean - Age 78, of Flushing, died October 14, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 3202 Forest Hill, Flint. Burial will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday and Monday at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Person Rd., Flushing, where a Scripture service will be held at 6 PM Monday. Mrs. Paradis will be taken to the church to lie in state from 9 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Catholic Church or the American Heart Association. Mrs. Paradis was born October 16, 1926, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Helen (Schmitzer) Wittbrodt. She married Kenneth Paradis on August 30, 1947. Donna was a charter member of St. Luke Catholic Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by: husband, Kenneth; sons, Dennis Paradis and wife Janet Olszewski, Scott and wife Peggy Paradis; grandchildren, Joshua Clever and Melissa and Markus Lonnquist; great-grandson, Nicklas; sister, Norine and husband Winston Hildebrant; nephews, Thomas Hildebrant, Tim Alberts and Phil Alberts; nieces, Mary Ann Tubbs, Diana Gardner, Louise Alberts, Jane Mudry and Mary Frances Cohen; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Edward O' Hare. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Helen Wittbrodt and her parents-in-law, George and Alice Paradis. Published in the Flint Journal on 10/16/2005.
