Virginia Loiselle “Ginny” Walker, 77, of 3818 Harvard Lane, Eau Claire, died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.She was born May 21, 1928, in Cornell to Alice A. (Anderson) and Wesley G. Wolfe. She lived in Cornell until moving to Wausau where she graduated from Wausau High School in 1946. She was then employed as an operator for Wisconsin Bell Telephone.Ginny married Dale Loiselle on October 23, 1948, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Chippewa Falls where she was employed for over 30 years at Mason Shoe Company. Her husband passed away on February 3, 1983.Ginny married DeLos Walker of Eau Claire on April 19, 1999, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Eau Claire since their marriage.She was a member of Sweet Adelines, Chippewa Falls Catholic Woman’s Club, U.C.T., and was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital for 11 years.Survivors include her husband, DeLos of Eau Claire; a son, Phillip (Toni Frerking) Loiselle of Cadott; two sisters, Bonnie (Tom) Stordahl of Amery, Sharon (Lenny) Shier of New Auburn; four brothers, William (Pat) Wolfe and Peter (Jean) Wolfe, all of Cornell, David (Lynn) Wolfe of Hot Springs, Ark., Allan (Roxie) Wolfe of Chippewa Falls; four stepchildren, Steven (Jenny) Walker of Eau Claire, Toni Lynn (Gary) Hirn of Prescott, Ariz., Nancy (Greg) Pederson and Dan (Babette) Walker, all of Eau Claire; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Kerry) Hagen of Chippewa Falls and Jill (Mike) Trimbo of Fridley, Minn.; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Mitchell and Matthew Hagen and Kyrsten Snyder; 11 step grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Bryan Jazdzewski celebrating the funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and until 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls. The Notre Dame P.C.C.W. will recite the rosary at 4 p.m. and there will be a Christian prayer service at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.Memorials in Ginny’s memory may be directed to the Chippewa County Humane Association.Friends may send condolences and sign the
