Bertha "Bert" W. Beaudreau, 99, of 521 Van Dyne Road, Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at home. She was born on April 3, 1906, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late Fred and Ida Dachefske Zickau. On April 25, 1925, she married Leo A. Beaudreau. She was employed at the Bonita Candy Company for many years. However, she spent most of her time being a homemaker who loved flowers, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. She is survived by a son, Ronald (Lois) Beaudreau of Cable; four grandchildren, Bryan (Sherry) Beaudreau of Eagle River, Brad Beaudreau of Fond du Lac, Burton Beaudreau of Drummond and Melissa Beaudreau of Hayward; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jenna and Bou; a special niece, Nancy (James) Kimpel of Fond du Lac; and a grand-niece, Raelynn (Jeff) Feucht. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Beaudreau, in May of 1970; a daughter at birth; two brothers, Walter and Raymond (C. Ruth) Zickau; and a sister, Leona E. (Elmer) Horning. Services: A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at Estabrooks Cemetery, with the Rev. Jon N. Cox officiating. Burial will follow. Mach Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
