Marion Tait Marion Jean Louise Tait (Smith), of Walkerton, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Thursday, January 29, 2009 in her 97th year. Loving mother of Patricia Tait of Walkerton; son David and his wife Marilyn of Walkerton. Cherished grandmother of Gregory of Eden Grove and Lindsay (Jeremy Louther) of Walkerton and great-grandmother of Madison and Tylie. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack), brother William Smith; step-brothers James Smith and Peter Smith and her parents Thomas and Marion (Tier) Smith. Visitation at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton, on Monday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 11 am at St. Paul's United Church, Walkerton. Rev. Herb Klaehn officiated. Spring interment in Walkerton Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Tait, Greg Tait, Jeremy Louther, Douglas Smith, Jim Smith and Bob Mavity. Memorial donations to the St. Paul's Memorial Fund, Community Living - Walkerton & District or the Heart & Stroke Foundation were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
