D'HAESELEER, Madeleine - Quietly on Saturday February 7, 2009 after a lengthy health battle, Madeleine passed away in her 89th year at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville. Wife of the late John D'Haeseleer (1988) and mother of the late Andre (2008), and mother-in-law of Pat. She will be sadly Missed by grandchildren Brad and April Bird (Isaac, Thomas, Rosemary and Loretta), Lyle and Yvonne Lightfoot (Cody, Cole, Shae Lynn, and Taylor). Madeleine worked hard with her husband and son on their vegtable and fruit farm in Lowbanks upon immagration from Belguim. Friends were received at the BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Monday at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery.
