O'KEEFE, Helen Elizabeth (nee Monro), Peacefully at the Shaver Hospital, St. Catharines on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2004 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late John O'Keefe (February 5th, 1998). Loving sister of Jessie (late Gordon) Creamer, Marjori e (late Irish) Hodgins, Victoria "Queenie" (late Austin) Hopkins and sister-in-law of Cecile (late Stafford) O'Keefe. Loved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters and brothers Ann (late Mitch) Mitchell, Hugh (late Mary) Monro, Muriel "Moo" (late Percy) Nicholls, Cleary, Gordon and Vivian (John) (late Eleanor) Monro. Helen was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and a former member of the Merritton Lioness Club. The family will receive their friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be Celebrated in the Chapel on Friday, March 26th at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Father Paul J. McDonald offic iating. Cremation with Inurnment at St. Vincent de Paul Church Cemetery, Niagara-on-the-Lake.
