KIMBERLEY, Paul Arnold - Of Welland, peacefully, at the Welland Hospital, on Thursday, February 12, 2009, in his 62nd year. Cherished husband to Elsie Kimberley (nee Buck). Beloved father of Jason Kimberley of Welland. Loving grandfather of Joshua Kimberley. Loved brother of Durwood Kimberley (Shirley) and Marg Mercer (Tom), all of Orillia and Anne Simpell of Midland. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents William and Lila Mae Kimberley, a niece Karen Mercer Brown, nephew Randy Simpell and brother- in-law Jack Simpell. Born in Orillia, Mr. Kimberley was employed as a redential counselor at Huronia Regional Centre. He moved to Welland where he took employment as a marine chief cook with Upper Lakes Shipping for 26 years during which he served as vice president and patrolman for CAW-CMU local 4401. Mr. Kimberley loved music and played the organ, piano and accordion and for a number of years was the Welland Brethren In Christ Church organist. As well, he was an avid and loyal Maple Leaf hockey fan. Friends are invited to visit at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Saturday, February 14th from 4-9 p.m. Pastor Gordon Gilmore of Welland Brethren In Christ Church will conduct the funeral service in the Cudney Chapel on Sunday, February 15th at 3:30 p.m. followed by cremation.
