DRAPER, Douglas Alan January 29, 1961 - February 2, 2009 Peacefully and with dignity at the Foothills Country Hospice Doug ascended to his next plane of existence. Doug was born in Calgary where he grew and prospered into the man who meant so much to all who came into contact with him. Doug thrived in the construction industry, most recently with Bird Construction in Calgary as a senior site superintendent. Doug will be remembered as a loving father and best friend to Spencer, soulmate and best friend to Teri, loving son to Helen and Lloyd Draper, brother to Dale, Brian and families, all of Calgary. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at the SNODGRASS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Okotoks, Alberta on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Snodgrass Funeral Home, Okotoks. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Tom Baker Cancer Centre Neuro-Oncology Department, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 4N2 or www.countryhospice.org .
