POITRAS, Joseph (1936-2004) - C'est avec beaucoup de chagrin que la famille annonce son décès, à sa résidence, le mardi, 30 mars 2004, à l'âge de 67 ans. Fils bien-aimé de feu Wilfrid et Maria Poitras (née Cloutier). Tendre époux de Colette Poitras (née Bigras) (Plante) et père dévoué de Luc Plante (Madeleine) de Welland, Lucie St. Georges (Victor), Lorraine St. Georges (Jean-Guy) de Lavigne; et Carole Poitras (Wayne) de Stittsville. Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses 10 petits-enfants et un arrière-petit-enfant. Cher frère de Jeanne Arbour et Marie Janzen. Prédécédé par ses frères et soeurs, Dolores Giguère, Béatrice Davenport, Joachim Caron, Léonie Vincent, Fernand Poitras, Lionel Caron, Marie-May Vincent, Cecile Johnson, Gérard Poitras et Henriette Plante. La famille accueillera parents et amis à la MAISON FUNÉRAIRE THÉORÊT, à Verner, aujourd'hui, jeudi, 1 avril, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Révérend Robert Lavoie présidera la messe funéraire à la Paroisse Notre-Dame de la Visitation à Lavigne, le vendredi, 2 avril à 14h. Cherished husband of Colette Poitras (nee Bigras) (Plante), and devoted father of Luc Plante (Madeleine) of Welland; Lucie St. Georges (Victor), Lorraine St. Georges (Jean-Guy) of Lavigne and Carole Poitras (Wayne) of Stittsville. His memory will live on in the hearts of his 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Loving brother of Jeanne Arbour and Marie Janzen. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Dolores Giguère, Béatrice Davenport, Joachim Caron, Léonie Vincent, Fernand Poitras, Lionel Caron, Marie-May Vincent, Cecile Johnson, Gérard Poitras and Henriette Plante. The family will receive relatives and friends today, April 1st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the THÉORÊT FUNERAL HOME in Verner. Reverend Robert Lavoie will celebrate the Funeral Mass at the Notre-Dame de la Visitation Church in Lavigne at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2004. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
