MARTIN-CALVERT, Gladys Jane, At the Chateau Gardens Long Term Care, Niagara On The Lake on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late William Martin (1980) and the late Edwin Calvert (2001). Loving mother of Joyce (Gordon) Je han, Vera (Ronald) Nisbet and William A. (Ann) Martin. Nana will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren David (Vicki) Jehan, Donna Rock (Joe), Vivian (John) Emery, Gary (Maureen) Nisbet, Paul (Ronda) Martin and Lynn (Richard) Wh itehead. Predeceased by a grandson Peter John Martin (1968). Nana will also be missed by her great grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Kathryn, Christine, Sarah, Jeffrey, Heather, Jenny, Connor, Spencer, Jennifer, Marissa, Lauren and Emma. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Alfred Bones and sisters Win Adamson and Dorothy Burke. Gladys was an active member of St. John's Anglican Church, Thorold and a member of the Merritton Lioness. A Memorial Service to celebrate Gladys' life will be held at the Churc h of St. John The Evangelist, 12 Carlton St. S., Thorold on Monday, April 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Canon Dr. Cathie Crawford-Browning officiating. Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to take place at a la ter date.
