Loving mother of Jack Beeksma of Niagara Falls, Eb (Bob) Quist of Beamsville, Amy (Gerald) McCracken of Rothes ay, New Brunswick, Jim (Barbara) Beeksma of Berkeley, Ontario and step-mother of Elizabeth (Henk) Egbers of the Netherlands. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Chris), Moriah (Paul), David, Leslie, Kathryn, Joanna, James (Jennifer), Jason, Jenna and Peter and step-grandmother of Monique (Dick), Anna (Douwe), Stephanie and Hermien, and great-grandmother of Rachel, Jack, Michael and Isabel. Dear sister of Hessel (Wiep) Baarda of Smithville, Tjitske de Jong of the Netherlands, and sister-in-law of Barbara Baarda of Wellandport. Hilda is predeceased by her first husband Harmen Beeksma (1962), her second husband John de Vries (1997) and her six brothers and three sisters.
