PENNER, Cassie Marie, Safely in the arms of Jesus, as the result of an automobile accident on Sunday morning, April 11, 2004. Cassie was a passenger returning from an Easter Sunrise service in Niagara when the accident occurred. Born on July 11, 198 6, Cassie was the cherished daughter of Wayne and Betty Penner and beloved sister of Mark Penner. Loving granddaughter of the late Artur (2000) and Louise Duerrstein (2004) and David and Jenny Penner. Cassie will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncle s, cousins and friends in both the Kitchener and Niagara areas. Cassie, 17 years, was preparing to graduate from Eden High School and anticipating attending Capernway Bible School on Thetis Island in September. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Cassie's life and faith will be held at Bethany Community Church, 1388 Third St., St. Catharines on Thursday, April 15th at 1 p.m. As an expres sion of sympathy, memorial donations to Camp Crossroads and the Spiritual Development Fund at Eden High School would be appreciated by the family. 4/13/2004- ID3768541 - St. Catharines Standard
