ARMSTROMG, William John "Jack", Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the Welland County General Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marjorie; sister Betty (Roy) Randall of St. Catharines; son John (Donna) of Ke lowna, B.C., daughter Deborah (William) of Dallas, Texas, and his adoring grandchildren Jonathan, Bobby, Tess, Laurel, Billy, and great-granddaughter Emily. Jack served in the Canadian Army during WWII from 1940 to 1945 and was a retired employee of Kimberly-Clark, formerly Interlake, with 42 years of service. After his retirement in 1977, Jack and Marjorie resided in Fonthill and Welland for the past 29 years. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland. A funeral service conducted by Reverend Bernie McGale of Knox Presbyterian Church will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Sunday at 2:00 p.m., followed by cremation.
