LAPOINTE Reine Marie - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing away peacefully of Reine Lapointe (age 80) Thursday February 13, at her residence. Reine is the beloved spouse of the late Jean Lapointe, loving mother of Yves (predeceased, Danielle (Wayne) McLeod, Denis (Catherine), Sylvie (Peter) Jefford, Andree and Jean - Pierre (Tina). Cherished grandmother of Yvonne, Renee, Lori, Lisa, Fannie, Chris, Michael, Katie and great grandmother of Mason and Hannah-May. Caring sister of the late Guy and of Carmen Bussiere of Montreal. A longtime resident and a business person of our community, Reine will truly be missed by numerous friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would greatly be appreciated by her family. A private service was held for her at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Monday February 16th, followed by cremation and interment in Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
