George, beloved husband of the late Ann (2006) and the late Mary (1989). Loving father of Harry (Cathy), John (Claire), David (Linda), and Peter (Elaine). Loving Opa of Elizabeth de Ruiter (Eric Dionne), Heather (James) Cook, Brodie, Allison, Jordan, James, Malcolm and great-Opa of Zoë Cook. Stepfather of Lena (Peter) van Dyke, Margaret (Ted) Postma, Faye (David) van Kesteren, Clarence (Ingrid) Dekens and Leroy (Trixie) Dekens and many grandchildren and great grandchildren of the Dekens family. Dear brother of Andrijna (Joop) Kamp and the late Hank. Brother-in-law of Grace de Ruiter, Tala Heuvelman, Grace (Bert) van Boven and Harm Boven. Retired owner of Blue Mountain Dry Cleaners of many years. Life- long member of the Christian Reformed Church. A funeral service was held at the Christian Reformed Church, Poplar Side Road, Collingwood, on Tuesday, February 17th, 2009, at 1:00 PM. Spring interment at the Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood.
