MATTHEWS, Ronald Bruce - (Retired employee of Cooper Industries) - Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2009; at the age of 70. Ron, beloved husband of Ruth (nee: Lavins). Loving father of Kevin (Mary) of St. Catharine's, Teri Lyn (Robert) of Bolton and Tracey (Dale) of Bracebridge. Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Rory, Owen, Taylor and Madison. Brother of Brian (Lynda) Matthews of Campbellford. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 1 p.m. until time of a Celebration of Ron's Life in the chapel at 2 o'clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
