BOYINGTON, Kurven “ Tor “ - Lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 12, 2009. Kurven Boyington best friend and husband of Gail Boyington. Father to Laurie (Kevin) Filson and Kevin (Marlene) Boyington. Stepfather to Barb (Dan) Cranston, Deb (Harvey) Hyma and Lori (Shawn) Corey. Grandfather to Tim (Jessica), Daniel, Joel, Nina, Devlin, Genelle, Nicole, Dillon, Brittany, Matthew, Carlee, Ashley and Kathleen. Great grandfather to Reilly, Ireland and Avery. Lovingly remembered by his sister Helen Godby and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Robbie, granddaughter Jessica, brother Ernie, Sister Laura, mother Nellie and stepfather Theodore. Special thanks to Dr. B. Blake, Beth, Judy, Jackie and Brenda. Also sadly missed by best buddy Elmo. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Reception to honour Tor's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 142, 305 Queen Street, Dunnville on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. If desired donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
