CLOUGHTON, Ronald Robert James, Peacefully at his home in St. Catharines on Sunday, May 9, 2004, aged 76 years. Beloved husband and cherished best friend of Molly (Ashmore) and treasured father of Molly Anne, Wayne (Brenda), and Jennifer. Loving gra ndfather of Sarah, Jennifer, Jessica, Lindsay, Dana and Nicholas and proud great-grandfather of Seth and Sadie. Sadly missed by brother Peter (Hilda) Cloughton of Birmingham England, sister Patricia Kelso of St. Catharines, and brother-in-law Ted Arc and of Ottawa. Much loved uncle of Jean Louis, Stephen, Judith, Matthew and their families. Funeral service will be held at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Wednesday, May 12 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Vinel and Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service. If so desired memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Don't grieve for me now, I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to live, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found my peace at the close of the day. If parting has left a void, then fi ll it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with time of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full. I've savoured much, good friends good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me.
