DeVROOM, Gerhard Anton (Dick) - Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 20th 2009 in his 77th year. Dick DeVroom of Orillia, son of the late Frederick and Maria DeVroom of the Netherlands. Dear brother of Lien Brouwer (DeVroom) of the Netherlands, Bart DeVroom (predeceased) and Riet of Barrie, Diony DeVroom (predeceased) and Anneke of the Netherlands. Loving uncle of Ricki Kapteyn (DeVroom) and Cor, John DeVroom and Dianne, Anita Herbert (DeVroom) and Mike, Fred DeVroom and Anna, and from the Netherlands, Monique, Karin and Andre. He is loved and will be missed by many great nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 50 Fittons Road West, Orillia on Tuesday February 24th, from 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family and will be received by the SIMCOE FUNERAL HOME 38 James Street E.
