STOREY, Alberta Jean (nee: Slessor) - (Long-time member of First Baptist Church) Gone home peacefully to be with the Lord, while surrounded by her family at the Trillium Manor, Orillia on Saturday, February 21, 2009; in her 97th year. Alberta Storey, of Orillia, beloved wife of 70 years of the late Russell Robert (Bus) Storey. Loving mother of Bob and wife Marilyn, John and wife Karen, all of Orillia, and Sylvia Beard and husband David, of Jarratt. Proud grandmother of Kevin (Lisa) Storey, Brian Storey, Jennifer (Andy) Tersigni, Susan Storey, Shawna (David) Rimkey, Deanna (Etienne) Davignon, Lauren Beard, and great nana of Emma & Katie Storey, Alannah & Julianne Tersigni, Samantha & Jefferson Cowan, Anessa & Colin Rimkey and Nathan & Saskia Davignon. Dear sister of Ivan Slessor (predeceased) & wife Monica of Milton, Elizabeth Cockburn & husband James (both predeceased), Alma Johnstone & husband Robert (predeceased) of Hawkestone, Dwight Slessor (predeceased) & wife Lillian of Newmarket, William Slessor & wife Bessie (both predeceased), Mary Oliver & husband Elwood of Orillia, Robert Slessor & wife Miriam of Burlington, Pauline Cooper (predeceased) & husband Jack of Simcoe and Donald Slessor (predeceased). Remembered by many nieces & nephews. The late Mrs. Alberta Storey will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Then to First Baptist Church, 265 Coldwater Rd., Orillia on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 1 o'clock.
