HAMILTON, James, Suddenly passed on May 19th, 2004 in Niagara Falls, at the age of 67. Best friend and loving husband of Bunny Hamilton for 42 years. Proudest and dearest Dad of Kristy (Mark) Evans and Glen (Teresa) Hamilton of Thorold. Jim was the proud Grandfather of seven grandchildren Jakob, Brittany, Ben & Eryn Evans and Carter, Breean & Larissa Hamilton. Predeceased by his parents Bill & Harriett Hamilton. Also predeceased by his sister Anne Hulme (1970), and his mother and father-in-law Jimmy (1987) and Helen Smithers (2001). He is also survived by his brother Bill (Elizabeth) Hamilton of Thorold. Jim will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and good friend Anita McLean (Gedge 2003). Jim was a man of few words, but when he spoke his words were full of humour and wisdom. He was a devoted family man and always thought of them before himself. Although he struggled with his disease for many years, he never complained and always played with the cards he was dealt. He was well liked by his many caregivers and special thanks to Carolin, Lisa, Craig, Brenda, Peter, Nicole, Bev and Lindsay. Thanks to the VON especially Anne. They were all his buddies. Jim was employed at Fraser Paper for over 40 years. Jim's family will receive their friends at the LAMB-BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold on Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral Service to follow in The Lamb Chapel at 12:15 p.m. Rev. Canon Dr. Cathie Crawford-Browning officiating. Cremation to follo w. Inurnment at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
