BUMSTEAD, Lorraine Letitia (nee Young) - It is with heavy hearts and sincere sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Letitia (Young) Bumstead on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Hillcrest Village, Midland, Ontario. Lorraine was born July 22, 1922 in Toronto and was the second child and only girl born to the late Howard and Letitia Young. She is survived and sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Douglas with whom she raised three children, Linda (Bruce) Wilcox, Gary (Ruth) Bumstead and Gail (Ian) Vasey. Beloved grandmother of Amy (David) Cummings, Sarah Wilcox, Scott (Vicki) Bumstead, Joy Bumstead, Jennifer (Jarrod) Foubert and Mark Vasey. Sister of Clifford (Joyce), Warren (Judy), Gilbert (Kay), Dennis (Pat) and the late George Young, Howard (Laura) and Ronald (June). Sister-in-law of Glen (Marilyn) Bumstead, Dorothy Young, Doris (the late Harold) Bumstead and the late Kenneth, Neil (Lea) Bumstead. Friends may call at the LYNN-STONE FUNERAL HOME, Elmvale from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, March 2 at 1:30 p.m. Spring Interment Wyevale Cemetery.
