PORTER, Madeline Phyllis - (Member of Kawartha Rebekah Lodge #75 in Lindsay) - Entered into rest peacefully after a lengthy struggle with illness at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Madeline (nee Algar) in her 80th year was the beloved wife of the late Ray Porter (1980). Loving mother of Phyllis (Paul Carpentier), Cindy (David Hardyman) and Richard (Cathy). Dear grandma of Colleen Trask, Catherine (Jeff Smith), Christopher, Carolyn, Richard, Jadde, and Ryerson. Adored great grandma of Paige and Jackson. Much loved sister of Mac (the late Lynn), Don (Marg), Jack (Doris), Shirley, and Pat (Gary Godding). Predeceased by her brother Walter, sisters Hope (Jack Begley), Betty Hutchison, and Barbara Jane. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Dennis Hutchison. Celebration of Life Service at Cambridge Street Baptist Church, 28 Cambridge Street North, Lindsay on Monday, March 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
