HEDGE, Miriam Jo (née Hortin) - Left a life lived to the fullest on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in her 75th year. She will be greatly missed by her best friend and husband, George; her daughters, Linda (David) Rammelt of Chicago, Cathy (Mike) Stam of Ajax, and her son, Daryl (Megan) of Brooklin. She was a special friend to her stepchildren, Sean (Kimberly) of Edmonton, Michael (Jayne) of Edmonton, Richard (Lori) Ferguson of Woodville. Momma to Vanessa and Zack MacLennan, Gramma to Matthew and Ryan Stam, Gramma Jo to Taylor, Carson and Charlotte Rammelt, and Nan to Colin and Megan Ferguson, Dylan Hooper, Emma Jayne Hedge and Charlize Martin Hedge. She was a loving sister to Dr.David and Cinda Hortin of Tallahassee, Florida. Her years of teaching left a mark on many students and the joy she had in singing with The Bobcaygeon Choristers, Crossbeat and the Knox Choir knew no bounds.
