CUTHBERT, John Robert Christian Jack World War II and Navy Veteran - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Ethel Cuthbert of Collingwood. Loving father of Lynda and her husband Donald McFarlane of Wasaga Beach and James and his wife Elaine Cuthbert of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Andrea (Marc) Townsend of Colorado and Debra McFarlane and her partner Chad Cormier of Sarnia. Great grandfather of Jason & Justin Townsend. Jack will be missed by his brother Gerald, predeceased by brother Norman and parents Walter and Elizabeth Cuthbert . Visitation will take place on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 7-9 in the evening at FAWCETT FUNERAL HOMES Collingwood Chapel, 82 Pine Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made payable to the General & Marine Hospital Foundation or Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 in Jack's memory.
