LONG, Ernest James - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing away peacefully of Ernest James Long (age 81) Tuesday March 03 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake. Beloved husband of Irene Marie, loving father of Terry (Lisa), Brad (Rhona), Janice (John), Jane and David (predeceased). Cherished grandfather of Scott, Christopher, Jennifer, Corey, Emily, Ryan, Gary, Jamie and Brandon. Ernest is survived by his siblings: Peggy, Phil, Ron and Ray. A resident of our community for the past fourteen years and a great volunteer, Ernest will truly be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. As wished, cremation and a memorial service to be held Saturday March 14th at 1:00 p.m. at the Lefroy United Church in Lefroy/Innisfil.
