ROBERTS, Francis Stephen "Frank", of Port Robinson, at the Woolcott Wing of the Welland County General Hospital on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband for 58 years of Dorothy Roberts (nee Hagar). Loving foster father of Gary Re ed, Patricia Campbell Reed and Brenda Carroll and foster grandfather of Rebecca, Bethany, Erik, Kelly & Matthew. Dear brother of Marion Sider of Fort Erie and Ethel Crown of Ridgeway. Predeceased by his parents Cecil & Mabel Roberts, foster children Ron Reed & Doug Reed, brother Alton Roberts and sister Florence Skiffington. Mr. Roberts was a farmer and also worked as an insurance agent for Bertie & Clinton Mutual Insurance Company for some 25 years retiring in 1987. He was an avid euchre player , a card-carrying member of the Chicago Blackhawks Standby's and was an elder at Cook's Mills United Church. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street. Welland, on Friday, July 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 p. m. Reverend Doctor Norman A. Perry will conduct the funeral service on Saturday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m. from Cook's Mills United Church, 18 Guest Road, Welland Interment will follow in Doan's Ridge Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial dona tions to Cook's Mills United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
