MCINNIS, John Malcolm, Formerly of Cape Breton, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, July 8, 2004, surrounded by his family, in his 81st year. Predeceased by his first wife Mary (1970). Survived by his loving wife Lois and children Donna of B.C., Joanne (Leonard) of P.E.I., Allan (Patti) of Thorold, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. John was a veteran serving in the front lines of World War II along with his four brothers. He retired from the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1984 a fter 33 years of service. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel on Monda y at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place later at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
