MILEWICZ, Boleslaw (Borden) ~ 1925 - 2004, On Sunday, July 11, 2004 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 79. Dear husband of Weronica, dear father of Leslie (Helen) of Toronto, Diane (Ron) Bateman of Niagara Falls, Lily Milewicz and Earl Vilneff of Thorold and Andrew at home. Predeceased by his son George in 1977. Loving grampa and papa of Scott and Haley, Shelley and George, Michelle, William and Brandon. Predeceased by his granddaughter MaryAnn in 1967. Boleslaw is also surviv ed by his sisters Balvina and Stella both of Saskatcheawn, and many nephews and nieces. Boleslaw came to Canada from Germany with his wife and family in 1951 and settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake. He had lived at his farm till the present day. Boleslaw took pride in maintaining his farm of 50 years and enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labour with family and friends. We would like to thank the people that have been so kind to Boleslaw and our family with words of kindness and encouragement. Friends and neighbours, the wonderful staff at Meadow's Pharmacy, staff and CIBC (NOTL), staff at Hotel Dieu, EMS staff and the extremely wonderful and caring staff at St. Catharines General Hospital that made his life comfortable. Special thanks to his nep hew Roman Kral and his partner Dawn Pearce for all their support, to Father George Sammut and the other visiting clergy for their prayers, support and words of encouragement and kindness during this difficult time. Mr. Milewicz is at the PATRICK J. D ARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 39 Court St (downtown) for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be offered on Tuesday evening at 7;30 p.m. A private service will take place on Wednesday.
