JEWELL, Lawrence "Larry", On Saturday, July 17, 2004, at the Welland Hospital, in his 79th year. Larry passed away peacefully, with his family by his side. He will be deeply missed and loved always by his wife Dolores, his daughter Lori (John) Silve stri, his son Bryan (Heather) Dunham, and grandchildren Mathew, Trevor and Juliana. Dear brother of Gertrude (Walter) Wiznoski, Dorothy (Frank) Dumeah, Rita (Clarence) Hanson, Hector Hewell, and brother-in-law of Patricia and Bruce Dunham. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Emma and William Jewell, sister Nora Kane, brothers Emmett, Edward and Robert, and his nephew George Chapman. Larry retired from the Niagara Regional Police force in 1986 after 28 years of service. He enjoyed spending the winters in Daytona Beach where he was a volunteer with the Port Orange Police Athletic League, as well as enjoying golf, travelling and Nascar. He was a member of the Niagara Regional Police Associa tion, the Police Association of Ontario, the Royal Canadian Legion Talbot Trail 613 and St. Anns Church in Fenwick. Respecting Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at St. Anns Church in Fenwi ck on Saturday, July 31st, with time to be established. If desired, donations in Larry's memory, to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Anns Church would be appreciated by the family.
