LORENCE, William, Suddenly, on Monday, August 2nd, 2004, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Mary Lorence (nee Petro). Loving father of John William Lorence and Carol Anne Hershoff of Sarasota, Fl. Dear grand father of Sarah Joanne Lorence of Welland. Predeceased by his parents Vasil and Mary Lorence. Brother-in-law of Anne Petro of Pittsburg, Pa. and Barbara Morellato of Niagara Falls, ON. William was employed for more than 45 years with Abitibi Paper Mi ll in Thorold before retiring in 1985. The family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
