Humphrey, Borden Ragin born April 14, 1915 and passed away October 27th, 2008 at the tender age of 93. Dad is gone to be with the Lord and his wife Dorothy, who passed away in March of this year. Mom and Dad were married for 69 years. In December of this year it would have been 70 years. This year they will spend that anniversary with the Lord. Borden is survived by his 11children Norma Cross (Earl) of Belleville, Gwen Orr (Johnny) of Timmins, Len Humphrey (Les) of Porcupine, Paul Humphrey (Ann) of Belleville, Mona Nixon (Danny predeceased) of Timmins Joyce Helmer (Dennis) of Timmins, Barry Humphrey (Cheryl) of Peterborough, Robert Humphrey (Wendy) of Steinbach Manitoba, Donna MacDonald (Bruce) of Belleville, Janet Dougherty (Steve) of Roslin, Joan McKay (Joe) of Bracebridge, Borden is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Gone on before Dad are his two children, Dale and Darlene. What a great reunion when Mom and Dad meet with their children again. Dad has been at Extendicare for the past year and we thank all who cared for Dad. They had so many nice things said about him and for that we thank you. Dad was a veteran of the II World War and has medals to prove it but his greatest claim is the fact that he Loved the Lord and he could hardly wait to be with Him. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 1st, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 100 Second Avenue with Dr. Doug Arnold officiating in the absence of Pastor Darryl Hartwig. Internment will follow at the Tisdale Cemetery. Remembrance donations made to the First Baptist chair lift fund, or the Community Food Bank operated by First Baptist church would be appreciated.
