COTTON, Herman Philip - Born on the 25th of June, 1916, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2004. Son of Xavier Cotton and Anastasia Boyle, in Barachois, Quebec. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Jeannine Lafond. Dear father of Hélène (Aurèle Doucet) of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Robert Cotton (Huguette) of Kapuskasing, Christine (Sid Catalano) of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by his four grandchildren, Anik (Robert) Brown, Jean-Pierre Doucet (Marie-Pierre Jarry), Kelly (Mike) Vachon, Stacey Lynn Cotton and two great-grandchilden, Jade Anik Doucet and William Aurèle François Doucet. Also survived by his sisters, Martha (Jack) Hilder, Sarah (Art) Dryer and Mildred Cotton; his brothers Eric and Leo (Darlene), and sister-in-law, Annie Cotton. Predeceased by brothers Irvin, Albert, Lloyd; sisters Eilleen Daigle and Phyllis Cotton, and brother-in-law Alf Daigle. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road on Wednesday, August 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Paroisse des Sts Anges, 232 Maplewood Avenue, on Thursday, August 12th at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations, in memory of Herman, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
