Marc Cloutier The funeral service for Hearst trucker Marc Cloutier, 67, was held Nov. 7, 2008. He died Nov. 2 at Notre-Dame Hospital from an illness. Born Dec. 6, 1940 in St-Joseph-de-Kamouraska, Québec, he was described by family as a positive, patient, courageous person and self-employed transport driver devoted to his work and family. He was predeceased by his father Gérard in 1975, brothers Bertrand and Gilles Cloutier in 1993 and 2000 respectively, a nephew Pascal Bélanger in 2000, and brother-in-law Bertrand Caron in 1999, He leaves his mother Simone Bélanger of Val-d’Or, Qué., wife Louiselle Maheux of Hearst, daughter Andréanne Cloutier of Hearst, son Marc-Antoine Cloutier of Hearst, daughter Lisa Henry of Hearst, and a granddaughter Chykeisha and grandson Delroy, both of Hearst. Also surviving are his sisters Mariette (Pierre) Bélanger of Matagami, Qué., Fernande (Gaston) Caron, Françoise (André) Morneau and Nicole Cloutier, all of Val-d’Or, and Sylvie Cloutier of LaSalle, Qué.; brothers Raymond (Micheline) of Amos, Qué, Claude (Francine) of Lebel-sur-Quévillon, Qué., and Jacques (Madeleine) Cloutier of Duparquet, Qué,; sisters-in-law Linda (Maurice Lebel) Maheux of Mattice and Jacinthe (Luc Poulin) Maheux Poulin, all of Hearst; mother-in-law Jeannine Lacasse of Hearst; father-in-law Lucien (Bernadette) Maheux of Smooth Rock Falls; and several nieces and nephews. Rev. René Grandmont presided the liturgy, assisted by Rev. Rémi Lessard, at Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral. Interment followed at Monsignor Pierre Grenier Cemetery.
