O'Neil Marin Passed away on / Décédé(e) le December 30, 2008 We regret to announce the death of O'Neil Marin on Tuesday December 30, 2008 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his wife: Laurette Marin of Kapuskasing; 6 daughters: Lise Roy wife of Jacques of Terrace Bay, Diane Gendron wife of André of Kapuskasing, Lorraine Huet wife of Yvon of Oshawa, Monique Lepage wife of Gilles, Linda Cass wife of Randy, Doris Marchand wife of Kurtis; 2 sons: Ronnie husband of Lynn all of Kapuskasing, Richard Marin husband of Debbie of Timmins; 1 step-daughter: Monique wife of Jean-Marc Cloutier of Kapuskasing,; 3 step-sons: Donald Chartrand of Nanaimo, Léon Chartrand husband of Hélène of Cornwall, Daniel Chartrand husband of Cheryl of Timmins; 3 sisters: Mariette Dallaire of Kapuskasing, Thérèse St-Aubin of Kapuskasing, Jeannette Lebrun wife of René of Ottawa and 1 brother: René Marin husband of Thérèse of Ottawa as well as 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. O'Neil Marin will be resting on Friday January 2, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church, Kapuskasing with Father Robert Tremblay officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Fondation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
