He is survived by his wife Jessie (Nan) of 62 years, daughter Nina and grandson Warren (Soyeon), brother Charles “Chick” (Clem) and sister Linda (Jim), as well as many nieces and nephews and countless others who were touched by his generous spirit over the years. Bob, affectionately known as “Scotty” to many of his friends, was employed at Kimberly Clark until its closure. He was an avid gardener and was highly involved in the Kapuskasing Horticulture Society, winning many prizes over the years for his beautiful lawn and gardens. He will be best remembered for his passionate love of gardening, and all the hours spent in his gardens bringing life and beauty to all around him. To those he leaves behind, he also leaves a lifetime of cherished memories. Though his passing will be deeply felt by all, his life will be joyously remembered and long celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to share in it. The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring staff of doctors and nurses at Trillium Mississauga Hospital and the staff at Andrews Funeral Home. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who have offered condolences and support during this difficult time. At his own request no service will be held, but donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Family
