Amédée TANGUAY

Amédée Tanguay of Kapuskasing died on Jan. 7, 2009 at the age of 99. Mr. Tanguay was born on Sept. 29, 1909 in St-Sabine, Bellechasse, Quebec. He worked as a farmer and lumberjack. He was a member of the Mattice Golden Age Club and enjoyed ice-fishing, gardening and playing cards. Father Gerald Chalifoux officiated the funeral service Jan. 10, 2009, at St-François Xavier Church in Mattice. Donations may be made to Extendicare Nursing Home or St-François Xavier Church. Funeral director was the Lafrance Funeral Home.
