Lloyd WOODS

Lloyd Woods of Hearst died at Notre Dame Hospital on Jan. 8, 2009 at the age of 78. Mr. Woods was born on Sept. 2, 1930 in Fergus and arrived in the area in 1968. He worked as a field service supervisor for the Ministry of Natural Resources. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and coached broomball. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, going to the cottage and gardening. He was described as loving people and simple pleasures and being a caring husband, father and grandfather and that he loved his dog. Rev. Doug Richardson officiated the funeral service Jan. 13, 2009, at Lafrance Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral director was the Lafrance Funeral Home.
